Established by community volunteers from the Central Texas region in 1990, BCL of Texas is a not-for profit community development corporation,which furthers economic development by promoting and assisting in the growth of small businesses in Texas.
BCL of Texas has two locations:
Entrepreneurship Center in Austin, TX
Homeownership Center and Commercial Lending Center in Dallas, TX
BCL of Texas also manages satellite offices in San Antonio, Brownsville, and Carrizo Springs, TX.
BCL of Texas assists small business owners with financing, SBA loan programs, and business coaching. BCL of Texas assists families with financial literacy, homebuyer education and post-purchase counseling services for homeowners.
Additionally, BCL of Texas manages loan funds for communities and provides capacity building technical assistance to other organizations and non-profits.
